Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a key member of our operating room team, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain medical equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist in preparing the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment
  • Help position patients on the operating table and cover them with sterile surgical drapes
  • Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons and surgeon assistants
  • Help count sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments
  • Assist in preparing, caring for, and disposing of specimens taken for laboratory analysis
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
  • Certified to perform CPR with 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field
  • Ability to stand for long periods and remain alert during operations
  • Ability to communicate verbally and use computer keyboard and view a computer monitor
