Job Title: AIT Engineer

At Turion Space, we are seeking a highly skilled AIT Engineer to join our team. As an AIT Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, performance, and reliability of our spacecraft and satellite systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans and procedures based on product specifications, requirements, and design documents.
  • Test Execution: Conduct testing of spacecraft and satellite systems, including functional, performance, environmental, and reliability tests.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze test data and results to assess system performance and identify any deviations from specifications.
  • Issue Identification: Identify, document, and troubleshoot issues discovered during testing.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test procedures, results, and issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and enhancement of testing methodologies and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with test equipment and tools, strong knowledge of test design, execution, and data analysis.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in test execution and data analysis.
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.
