Overview:

Under the leadership of Rick and Jon Kinning, RK encompasses seven unique business lines that collaborate to ensure seamless project execution. Our proprietary construction methods, recognized safety protocols, and professional delivery enable us to transform our clients' most ambitious ideas into tangible results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various production machinery effectively.
  • Cut, fit, weld, and assemble manufactured products.
  • Interpret technical drawings and welding symbols accurately.
  • Execute layout and fabrication tasks for stairs, rails, beams, columns, and other metal structures.
  • Conduct inspections and document compliance with product specifications.
  • Manage materials efficiently.
  • Availability for overtime work is essential.
  • Two shifts are available:
    • First Shift: 4am-2:30pm, Monday-Thursday
    • Second Shift: 2:30pm-1am, Monday-Thursday

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in structural fitting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of welding experience.
  • Proficiency in advanced trigonometry and geometry is required.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing past projects involving complex curving structures, spiral stairs, canopies, and sculptural designs.
  • Familiarity with equipment capacities is necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow fabricators and laborers to enhance their skills.
  • Work alongside the shop foreman to meet production targets.
  • Communicate order statuses to the shop superintendent.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the shop superintendent.

  • Familiarity with trade materials and tools is essential.
  • Ability to lift and carry weights ranging from 51 to 75 lbs occasionally, and 31 to 45 lbs frequently.
