Key Responsibilities:
The primary duty of the Pediatric Physical Therapist is to assess and deliver treatment for patients with physical, emotional, and/or psychosocial challenges.
Essential Duties Include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of children from birth to age 21 with various congenital and orthopedic conditions to enhance mobility through specialized gross motor interventions, including but not limited to gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises.
- Collaborating closely with patients' caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to formulate and execute tailored treatment plans.
- Maintaining professional and technical competencies in accordance with job responsibilities while adhering to federal and state licensure and ethical standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy with a current, unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining licensure).
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
