Job Title: Registered Nurse - Addiction Medicine

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Peabody, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients with substance use disorders. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, provide education and support to patients and families, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to individuals with substance use disorders, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Substance Use Disorder Medical Director and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, including counseling and advocacy.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to substance use disorder treatment.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in substance use disorder treatment, including experience working with adolescents and adults.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
