Role SummaryThe primary responsibility of a Precision Manufacturing Specialist is to execute assembly tasks utilizing lean methodologies to create FDA-regulated products within a controlled setting.
Key Responsibilities- Understand and implement detailed work instructions.
- Assemble components through processes such as gluing, weaving, packaging, coiling, and welding using various hand tools and pneumatic equipment.
- Assess and manage the quality of small components throughout the manufacturing process.
- Diagnose and resolve basic equipment issues.
- Encourage and maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate any production-related issues to the team lead or supervisor.
- Support and enhance LEAN operations by adhering to standard practices, including Safety Observations and Idea Generation.
- Meet quality assurance standards and complete associated documentation.
- Responsibilities outlined in this description may evolve over time.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Compliance with shop practices, including appropriate attire and use of personal protective equipment.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
