Key Responsibilities

The Radiology Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the radiology department, which includes budget management, staff supervision, patient care, and adherence to regulatory standards. This role serves as a crucial link between the radiology department and referring physicians. The supervisor may engage with patients across various age groups, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. In the realm of Cardiology Services, the Nuclear Medicine supervisor specifically caters to adult and geriatric patients.

Required Qualifications

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Nuclear Medicine:

  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience

Ultrasound:

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography program
  • Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • At least three years of clinical experience

Imaging Modalities (IR, CT, BCC, Diagnostic, MR):

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • Registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the AART
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory clinical experience
  • Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

Work Schedule:

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
