Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Protagonist. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge applications that drive our Narrative Analytics offering.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that make a real difference. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will collaborate with our customer-facing Client Solutions team to create solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with our engineering team to create, design, and develop modules that align with our objectives.
  • Ensuring code quality through peer reviews and innovative problem-solving.
  • Taking ownership of core deliverables, from technical and logical design to coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Recommending original solutions and design approaches to meet requirements and make informed decisions between competing solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in modern web applications using React and Typescript.
  • 3+ years with Rest API frameworks and Data Visualizations.
  • 5+ years of software development experience, utilizing Python.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Expertise in Code Version Control (GIT) and experience with Postgres (or similar) SQL database programming.
  • Background in Agile scrum or kanban methodology to deliver high-quality software.
  • Experience working on production products within collaborative teams.

Salary: $80,000 - $185,000 based on education and level of relevant experience.
