About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team at IBM Consulting. As a key member of our Agile program, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and operationalizing new and existing applications for a federal customer.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance engineers, business analysts, and designers, to shepherd product backlog items from inception through production deployment.

You will be responsible for developing open source, microservice-based applications in an AWS environment, with a focus on high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests for all new and changed code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver valuable solutions.
  • Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle RDS, and DynamoDB to develop applications for enterprise business customers.
  • Obtain and maintain a DHS EOD (Public Trust) clearance.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Ruby, Rails, ReactJS, Swift, Python/Anaconda, and Scala.
  • Experience working with AWS EC2, ECS, EKS, and Lambda, Docker, Swagger, Redis, New Relic, and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD (Public Trust) clearance.
