Requirements
  • Understanding of medical terminology and ability to apply knowledge in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Medical Assistant Diploma or Certificate of Competency/Recognition in Medical Assisting Clinical/Back Office.
  • BLS certification upon hire.
  • Ability to work well in a constantly changing environment, with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory care setting.
  • Phlebotomy certification.
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including occasional weekends or holidays.
