As a Facility Plant Worker, you'll play a critical role in our Wastewater Treatment Facility, helping to ensure the efficient and effective processing of drums and materials.
Key Responsibilities- Sampling and processing of drums to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Placing and/or locating materials in proper staging/storage areas at the facility to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Cleaning tanks, performing confined space entries, and cleaning and maintaining the plant to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance
- High school diploma or equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in math and science
- Ability to lift 50 pounds individually or more with assistance, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Confined space and rescue training, as well as experience with operating a forklift and other heavy equipment, are a plus
- Successful completion of 40-hour OSHA hazwoper training, with a physician's certification to wear a respirator
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
- Ability to work required shift and read, write, and speak English fluently
