Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Retail Lead to act as a brand representative for our flagship store, dedicated to crafting an exceptional retail experience for our clientele by overseeing daily business operations.
This individual will exemplify our mission to provide the ultimate customer journey by delivering outstanding service and guiding store associates to achieve and surpass our performance metrics.
To excel in this position, the candidate must demonstrate excellent communication abilities, a robust business insight, and a background in retail and/or premium goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing strategic business growth plans to ensure brand expansion and long-term financial viability.
- Assisting in establishing standards and objectives for retail sales personnel.
- Training and holding the sales team accountable to company objectives, visual merchandising guidelines, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
- Supervising and enhancing daily retail associate workflows to guarantee efficiency.
- Collaborating closely with the store manager to set and achieve sales and profit targets.
- Monitoring all store expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
- Creating and enforcing employee schedules.
- Tracking progress on store objectives and driving performance outcomes.
- Ensuring all store operations are executed effectively and satisfactorily.
- Inspiring team members to reach their highest potential.
- Managing labor hours to meet hourly wage targets set by the store manager.
- Assigning daily responsibilities for various roles.
- Overseeing store systems to ensure proper functionality and maintenance (lighting, HVAC, humidification, water treatment, plumbing, alarm, and surveillance).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data effectively.
- Hands-on commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
- Proven capability to direct and coordinate operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A general understanding of cigars and the cigar industry is preferred but not mandatory.
