Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an Environmental Operations Manager to oversee various projects and ensure client satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining project scopes, managing client relationships, and preparing detailed proposals and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive oversight for environmental projects, including remediation and emergency response services.
2. Ensure that health and safety protocols are prioritized by adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
3. Maintain necessary certifications, including confined space supervisor and emergency response supervisor.
4. Direct personnel in operational procedures to achieve project goals effectively and efficiently.
5. Develop work plans and coordinate with the Field Service team to allocate resources for upcoming projects.
6. Communicate with clients to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled and manage project status updates.
7. Be available for emergency response situations as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental field services, construction, or engineering.
- Leadership experience is advantageous.
- Training in emergency response and marine spill response is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Strong knowledge of equipment operations and federal/state environmental regulations.
