Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at Mon Health Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex cardiac catheterization procedures, working closely with our interventional cardiologists to diagnose and treat cardiac and peripheral vascular disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patient hemodynamic status and document procedures
  • Assist physicians during endovascular procedures
  • Maintain job and license requirements, attend mandatory in-services, and participate in self-education
Requirements
  • Medium work: frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs with a maximum lifting of 50 lbs
  • Skills required: cardiac cath lab procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, impella insertion, laser-assisted procedures, left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), pulmonary artery (PA) line insertion, right heart catheterization, rotablader athrectomy, temporary pacemaker
Work Environment

Our diagnostic cardiac cath lab is a fast-paced environment where you will work closely with our interventional cardiologists to diagnose and treat cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. You will be responsible for monitoring patient hemodynamic status, documenting procedures, and assisting physicians during endovascular procedures.
