Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for optimal care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including communication with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum six months' experience in a medical-surgical setting, preferably in an acute care environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
