About This Role

Fresenius Medical Care Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Home Therapies team. As a Home Therapies Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in managing patient care in an independent home therapy program. Your primary responsibility will be to provide education and support to patients and their caregivers who have chosen to dialyze in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial visits to patients' homes to assess their readiness for home dialysis
  • Provide ongoing education and training to patients and their caregivers on home dialysis treatment and equipment
  • Assess and manage patients' response to home dialysis treatment, including analyzing dialysis data and adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Ensure patients are aware of transplant and treatment modality options
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current appropriate state licensure
  • Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
  • Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a chronic or home hemodialysis setting
  • Chronic/home hemodialysis experience
