Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair various systems, including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with delivery vehicles and equipment.
  • Operate standard and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Operate power and pneumatic tools.

Requirements:

  • Active driver's license issued by the state.
  • Meet D.O.T requirements required by job assignment.
  • Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including Monday through Friday, Sunday through Thursday as well as Tuesday through Saturday schedules, depending on the location's need.
  • Possess the required hand tools required to perform the applicable job assignment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computers.
  • Class A/B or A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Preferred.
  • Dependable with ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis and complete scheduled workday on a consistent basis.
  • Available to work varying shifts, additional hours, and/or overtime depending on service needs.
  • Wears personal protective equipment as required.
  • Works in an environment with variable temperatures and humidity (climatic conditions), exposure to cleaning materials, petroleum products, dust, dirt, and noise, outside inclement weather, etc.
  • Works cooperatively in a diverse work environment.
  • Communicates effectively through sight, hearing, and/or otherwise, to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting pay for this position is $38.46 per hour. Hired applicants are eligible for weekly pay, extensive training, 401(K), defined-benefit pension plan, medical-dental and vision after waiting and/or probation period, $0 healthcare premium, paid vacation, paid sick and family and medical leave time as required by law, paid holidays, discounted employee stock purchase program.
