Overview of Bridge to Resiliency

CSR's Bridge to Resiliency is a pioneering partnership between Children's Services of Roxbury and Boston Public Schools. This initiative addresses the complex social, emotional, or behavioral needs of Boston students, preventing punitive school disciplinary action and connecting them with culturally attuned, insurance-funded behavioral health care.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Outpatient Supervisor and the School Based Coordinator, the School Based Clinician will provide therapeutic services, including individual therapy, family/group therapy, and systems-level advocacy. This role requires delivering mental health care to assigned students at designated school locations and providing consultation services to school staff.

Responsibilities
  • Carry a caseload of up to 12 students.
  • Provide a range of treatment services, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Offer clinical services such as intake/diagnostic evaluations, case evaluations, and crisis intervention.
  • Participate in an interdisciplinary treatment team (Student Support).
  • Attend weekly clinical supervision and staff meetings.
  • Maintain clinical records in accordance with insurance regulations and established clinic policies and procedures.
  • Meet clinical productivity standards as established by the Program Director.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A graduate-level degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of Wraparound Program Models and/or CBHI services is preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong communication/interpersonal and organizational skills, with experience in providing community outreach services.
  • Ability to work with diverse individuals of different cultures, with a thorough understanding of cultural competence.
  • Experience in navigating child/family-serving systems and advocating for family members involved with behavioral health systems.
  • Ability to reason and follow written and/or verbal directions effectively.
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. (School Hours).
