Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Project Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Senior Data Center Project Architect, you will play a key role in designing and delivering secure, scalable, and efficient data centers that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for developing conceptual designs, creating project documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. You will also manage external design consultants through the design and construction process and coordinate with internal and external Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, and Cabling design engineers.

Requirements:

- 7+ years of experience in commercial/industrial projects
- 2+ years of experience in data center design or mission-critical facility design
- Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards including IBC or equivalent, NFPA, & IFC
