We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our Ground Missile Defense (GMD) Weapon System Sustainment Engineering team, you will play a critical role in resolving operational issues at GMD Sites and labs.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the interface between GMD Weapon System and operational sites, providing engineering resolutions and site work instructions.
- Analyze data and present status and problem resolutions to the GMD Weapon System MDA customer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement long-term solutions to reported issues.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of experience in a STEM-related field.
- Active U.S. Government DOD Secret Clearance.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and executable work instructions.
- Experience in process improvement, presenting technical information to customers, and proficiency with SAP HANA, SAP Production Environment, Tableau, Jira, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Professional experience with weapon systems platforms and sustainment of mission-critical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues, working in Agile Scrum team development environments, and collaborating across disciplines.
- Experience working with Department of Defense (DOD) contracts, Engineering Bills of Materials (EBOMs), and Indentured Parts Lists (IPLs) for obsolescence analysis.
