Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a Neuro Melanoma Sarcoma Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care to individuals with neuro melanoma and sarcoma conditions. This includes assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, dependable, and effective care to patients with neuro melanoma and sarcoma conditions.
  • Apply the Synergy Model for Care in practice to personalize care for each patient and family.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Document nursing processes accurately and efficiently.
  • Evaluate patient responses to planned care and adjust care plans as necessary.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or completion of a re-entry nursing program.
  • Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS may be required in designated departments.

Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 per year

This salary range reflects the average annual compensation for a Registered Nurse with similar experience and qualifications in the Atlanta, GA area.
