Staff Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly qualified Staff Psychiatrist to join our medical staff of over 80 collegial psychiatrists for our inpatient psychiatric services for children and adolescent patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct clinical admission evaluations, subsequent cares, and discharges from the hospital unit with corresponding and timely documentation
- Participate in court hearings
- Supervise Advanced Practice Professionals (if mutually agreed upon)
- Contribute to strong citizenship as a Staff Psychiatrist within the Pine Rest system
We are an academically affiliated nonprofit, behavioral health system offering a full continuum of services for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. As a designated teaching hospital by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, we provide educational programs in the behavioral health field at various levels. Our Department of Psychiatry collaborates with Michigan State University for faculty appointments through MSU's College of Human Medicine.
