We are proud to offer a unique opportunity for a Hospice/Palliative Medicine physician to join our esteemed team at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position with regular business hours (8am-5pm), with flexibility to accommodate weekend coverage if desired.
  • You will work with patients across various care settings, including Parkview Randallia, Parkview Regional Medical Center, and Extended Care Facilities.
  • The call rotation is phone-based, with a 1:6 schedule.
  • To be successful, you must hold Board eligibility/certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Your Team:

  • You will collaborate with an experienced team of healthcare professionals, including a Full-time Hospice Medical Director, Associate Medical Directors, and Nurse Practitioners.
  • Parkview Health boasts a dedicated Hospice Pharmacy, as well as an associated Home Health division, offering access to a range of therapies.
  • As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expert consultation for patients facing serious, life-threatening, or end-of-life illnesses.

Parkview's Commitment to Palliative Care:

  • Our Palliative Care Team provides comprehensive services for both inpatients and outpatients, working closely with our established Parkview Hospice program.
  • We also partner with a dedicated Palliative Oncology Team within the Packnett Family Cancer Institute.

Estimated Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. With over 10 years of experience, we estimate your salary would be approximately $310,000 per year. For those with less than 10 years of experience, this number could range from $200,000 to $290,000 yearly depending on factors such as board certification, level of expertise and more.
