At Mount Sinai Eldercare - Hialeah, FL, we are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum potential and independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Implement and oversee home modification programs to promote safety and independence.
- Provide education and training to patients and family members on proper care and use of durable medical equipment.
- Supervise and direct Occupational Therapy Assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Current Florida State OT License.
- BLS or CPR Certification.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- 12 months of clinical work experience and minimum of 1 year working with a frail or elderly population.
