Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at OhioHealth. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and anesthesia services to our patients.
Job Summary:The CRNA will be responsible for performing and documenting preanesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients, developing and implementing anesthetic plans, and initiating anesthesia techniques. The successful candidate will also provide continuous evaluation of patient physical status, select and administer anesthetics and other drugs and fluids, and discharge patients from postanesthesia care.
Responsibilities:- Perform and document preanesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients
- Develop and implement anesthetic plans
- Initiate anesthesia techniques, including general, regional, local, and sedation
- Provide continuous evaluation of patient physical status
- Select and administer anesthetics and other drugs and fluids
- Discharge patients from postanesthesia care
- Respond to emergency situations
- Provide on-call coverage as required
- Associate's Degree (Required)
- AANA - American Association of Nurse Anesthetists certification
- National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification
- Current Ohio licensure as a registered nurse
- Graduate from an approved school of nursing
This is a full-time position working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
