Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant/Nurse Anesthetist with Community Medicine Expertise

Indiana University Health Community Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our dynamic team in the Indianapolis area. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to the expansion of the anesthetist profession within our community medicine division.
Position Highlights:- Join a well-established team of Anesthesiologists and participate in the growth of the anesthetist profession within our community medicine division.
- Full-Time, Monday-Friday, Days
- No weekend work or call
- Combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities working with mostly adult patients including: ortho, general surgery, endoscopy, ophthalmology and occasional pediatric cases
- Primary locations include IU Health North, West, Saxony and Tipton Hospitals.
- Must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana
- Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant:
- Must have graduated with a Master's degree from a CAAHEP accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
- Must have passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or the CDQ examination and hold current certification
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:
- Must have graduated from Master's level Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
- Must have passed the National Certification Examination and hold current certification from the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
