Job Summary

This position provides high-quality care to assigned residents in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to location standards, procedures, and individualized resident care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completes comprehensive nursing assessments of all residents on admission and on an ongoing basis, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation).
  • Assures assigned residents receive ordered medication, treatments, and other procedures within defined time frames, utilizing appropriate infection control procedures.
  • Documents actions and notations for all resident condition changes according to policy and procedure.
  • Records daily skilled nursing notes and documents all actions taken related to admission, discharge, transfers, or death.
  • Assists/participates in quality improvement processes, including audits and corrective procedures as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Prior work experience in like or related positions preferred.
  • Maintains required certification/qualifications and associated standards.
  • Licensure for the state of practice is required.
