Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. As a RN, you will work collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal health and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate resident needs, developing and implementing care plans that address physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing wound care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and services, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making and resident-centered care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance resident care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a current RN license in good standing.
  • Experience in long-term care or a related setting, with a strong understanding of gerontological nursing principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents, with or without accommodations.
