Position Summary:
The Senior Brand Manager will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing brand strategies aimed at driving growth, enhancing market share, and elevating brand equity. This position requires a strategic mindset combined with a robust background in brand management, marketing, and consumer insights, particularly within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) food sector. The ideal candidate will possess a proven history of effective brand management and a genuine enthusiasm for the food industry. Collaboration and the ability to influence key stakeholders are essential attributes for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L Management: Oversee profit and loss statements to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Brand Strategy Formulation: Spearhead the creation and execution of comprehensive brand strategies aligned with business goals.
- Market Insights: Conduct thorough analysis of category and shopper data alongside consumer insights to uncover trends, competitive landscapes, and market opportunities.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the product lifecycle from innovation through to decline, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Market Entry Strategy: Lead the introduction of new products in collaboration with project management, marketing, and sales teams, establishing and monitoring KPIs to evaluate effectiveness.
- Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Design and implement cohesive marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and traditional platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Budget Oversight: Manage brand budgets to ensure optimal resource allocation and return on investment.
- Performance Analysis: Track and assess brand performance metrics, providing insights and reports to senior leadership.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Engage with internal and external partners, including sales, research and development, and agency collaborators, to advance brand initiatives.
- Brand Messaging: Ensure consistent and impactful brand communication across all channels, maintaining brand integrity.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in brand management within the CPG food sector.
