Job Title: Fraud Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fraud Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verifying potential fraud cases identified by our Fraud Detection Systems.
  • Following established protocols to ensure accurate and timely resolutions.
  • Collaborating with Branch Operations to address questionable items.
  • Tracking and retaining exception item resolutions.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring Client and Fraud Detection Systems for potential fraud activity.
  • Opening fraud claims and reviewing chargeback rights or possible recovery.
  • Working fraud claims in a timely manner to ensure compliance with Regulation E.
  • Maintaining up-to-date Fraud Logs for management and accounting purposes.
  • Following up on investigative leads, including chargebacks, photos, retrieval, and police leads.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and an associate's degree is desirable.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a banking security environment or 1 year in a credit or debit card processing environment.
  • Background in overall bank operations is required.

Compensation: $46,000 - $56,900 per year. Note that compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skills, and location.
