Dental Hygienist

Rice Creek Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and support our team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thorough and compassionate patient care, including dental cleanings, exams, and education.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening.
  • CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
