Key Responsibilities:
A Risk Management Consultant will thrive in territory oversight, recruitment, revenue enhancement, brand safeguarding, and professional conduct. This role demands a CEO mindset—approaching the sales territory as if it were your own. This perspective includes fostering relationships with internal sales and operations teams, developing the territory, and upholding the Ash brand and culture. The sales territory for this position is primarily in the West.
To excel in this role, you will:
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of life, long-term care, and disability insurance applications, including business, individual, and estate planning contexts.
- Drive revenue through proficient territory management, recruitment, and relationship cultivation.
- Engage with top producers, recruit new talent, and enhance revenue beyond the territory's current baseline.
- Build and nurture relationships with advisors.
- Educate advisors on complex products to increase the likelihood of recommendations and maintain a high-quality product mix.
- Adopt a solutions-oriented approach.
- Continuously seek opportunities and engage in the sales process.
- Represent all lines of protection and risk mitigation tools offered by Ash Brokerage: Life, Disability, and Long-Term Care.
- Assist with case management issues alongside the home office and advisors.
- Foster the Ash culture through teamwork, cross-selling, and professional sales techniques.
- Ensure that advisors representing Ash utilize carrier-approved and Ash-approved materials in their practices.
- Self-driven and motivated.
- Professional demeanor.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable in a multi-channel environment, including digital communication platforms.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in presenting to both individuals and groups.
- Detail-oriented, organized, assertive, confident, innovative, and energetic.
- Willingness to travel for initiating and nurturing new relationships, as well as expanding the business of existing advisors.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in finance, risk management, or business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CLU and/or CFP designations are highly preferred.
- A Life Insurance license and Series 6 are required or the willingness to obtain them within the first year.
