Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our team. As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for conducting tax interviews with clients, preparing complete and accurate tax returns, and generating business growth through the sale of additional products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools
  • Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
  • Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
  • Provide clients with IRS support
  • Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort working with virtual tools video, phone and chat
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
  • Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
  • High school diploma / equivalent or higher
