We are in search of an Operations Assistant to become an integral part of our team, collaborating closely with the General Manager and the Maritime Services Team. In this role, you will be essential in managing vessel schedules, updating clients, coordinating crew transitions, and executing a range of administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate vessel schedules while maintaining communication with clients.
- Facilitate the timely delivery of personnel and supplies to vessels.
- Ensure effective communication with vessel officers and assist in necessary documentation.
- Support the recruitment process and prepare reports as required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a chauffeur's endorsement.
- TWIC Card and completion of high school education or equivalent.
- Capability to lift packages weighing at least 40 lbs.
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and after-hours as needed.
This position typically involves a 40-hour work week with some flexibility. The work setting includes office environments, client locations, and outdoor industrial sites.
Physical RequirementsThe role necessitates sitting, typing, climbing ladders, and traversing uneven terrain.
