Energy Efficiency Retail Program Lead

Resource Innovations is seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Retail Program Lead to join our growing government services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful launch and deployment of IRA Inflation Reduction Act programs with retail partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage program launch and implementation, including development of work plans to meet goals and aligning staff assignments.
  • Deliver successful large-budget, energy programs to State client(s) per contract terms and program budgets.
  • Identify, define, quantify, track, and drive program deliverables to be submitted accurately and on time.
  • Continuously assess project progress to goal and develop innovative and creative solutions to new issues and/or market dynamics.
  • Manage, lead, and mentor a dynamic team by setting and reviewing performance standards and objectives for direct reports and creating effective delivery teams.
  • Support outreach functions through community engagement, program presentations, and relationship building.
  • Develop, manage, and foster partnerships with subcontractors, community groups, and other industry affiliates/stakeholders.
  • Manage client expectations, satisfaction, communications, and resolve and/or escalate client issues.
  • Interface with key internal departments such as IT, Marketing, Finance, and HR to develop efficiencies to meet program needs.
Requirements:
  • US Citizenship is required due to IRA funding stipulations.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business, energy, engineering, or a related field of study is required.
  • A minimum of 6+ years' experience in energy-efficiency or a related field is required, with multifamily or Commercial & Industrial (C&I) program experience preferred.
  • Previous management experience, including experience leading technical staff, is required.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing project scopes, budgets, and plans is required.
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools are required.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Advanced energy-related certifications, such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Certification, are preferred.
  • A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience managing multi-family focused energy efficiency or weatherization programs is preferred.
