Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership and Management: Provide effective leadership and management to staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and excellence. Mentor and develop staff members, promoting their growth and professional development within the organization.
- Strategic Leadership: Work closely with the Board of Directors to set priorities, establish goals, and develop plans for achieving mission impact and financial sustainability.
- Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to diversify and increase revenue streams. Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, funders, and supporters to maximize philanthropic support for refugee services.
- Financial Management: Oversee the organization's budget, financial planning, and fiscal operations, ensuring sound financial management practices and accountability.
- Program Development and Evaluation: Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and strategic priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including refugee communities, government agencies, funders, partner organizations, and the broader community.
- Board Relations: Collaborate with the Board of Directors to ensure effective governance, strategic planning, and oversight of organizational activities.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in nonprofit management, with a proven track record of success in fundraising, financial management, and program development
- Strong commitment to and passion for serving refugees
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders
