Position Overview:
We are in search of a dependable and personable Veterinary Client Relations Specialist to be the welcoming face for our clients. In this position, you will serve as the initial point of contact, warmly greeting clients and facilitating their check-in process at our facility. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients, explaining fees and payment methods, addressing inquiries about urgent cases, and processing deposits and payments. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication and customer service abilities, thriving in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients with a positive attitude and deliver exceptional service.
- Evaluate arriving patients to ascertain the necessary level of care for each animal.
- Communicate clinic fees and available payment methods.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding clinic services and pet health.
- Coordinate with veterinary technicians and veterinarians regarding patient updates.
- Maintain accurate and organized client information and medical records.
- Previous experience in customer service or a veterinary environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced and high-pressure setting.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient problem-solving skills and the capacity to navigate challenging situations with professionalism.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards pets and their owners.
- Client Services operates every day of the week; we are looking for candidates with flexible scheduling availability.
- Hourly wage range of $26.00, commensurate with experience.
- Night shift differential for hours worked between 6 PM and 6 AM:
- Monday-Thursday: $3/hour
- Friday-Sunday: $5/hour
