We are seeking Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants within our Anesthesiology department. Become part of a community of skilled clinicians engaged in an extraordinary practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Accountable for delivering anesthesia services under the supervision of a credentialed anesthesiologist before, during, and after surgical procedures, as well as for diagnostic or therapeutic interventions. Formulates a care plan based on preoperative evaluations and collaborates with all relevant healthcare providers. Initiates the designated anesthetic technique under the guidance of the anesthesiologist. Administers anesthetic agents and adjunctive therapies to maintain the patient's physiological stability. Monitors patients during surgery for physiological responses and manages recovery from anesthesia.

EDUCATION

Required: Graduation from an anesthesiologist assistant educational program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Master of Science in Anesthesiology or equivalent degree.

EXPERIENCE

Required: None

Preferred: Two to five years of clinical experience in a high-acuity hospital, specialty hospital, academic medical center, or equivalent.

CERTIFICATION

Required: Current Certification or recertification as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) from the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA). ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
