Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Quantic BEI. As a key member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects for space flight and military products.

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates in Mechanical Engineering or a related field to gain hands-on experience in design, testing, and manufacturing of complex systems. You will be responsible for working directly with other engineers on projects, designing mechanical components, creating dimensional drawings in CAD, and identifying and selecting purchased parts. Your contributions will play a critical role in the development of innovative solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components using CAD software
- Create dimensional drawings and specifications for manufactured parts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
- Conduct quality assurance checks on finished products

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD software (preferably Solidworks)
- Experience with CNC machining or 3D printing is a plus
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
