We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Development Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on challenging projects and collaborate with experienced engineers.

Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineering Development Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include mechanical component design, creation of dimensional drawings in CAD, identification and selection of purchased parts, hands-on assembly and product testing, and opportunity to analyze designs using finite element analysis. You will also be required to undergo an Export Compliance Assessment as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a major in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Experience with CAD software, preferably Solidworks, is required. Experience designing parts for CNC machining or 3D printing is a plus. Computer skills using MS office or equivalent are also required. Hobbies, personal projects, or classes with hands-on experience are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
