Position Overview

This role is pivotal in overseeing credit operations and contributing to the management of the bank's risk profile. The individual will engage in the evaluation of the bank's portfolio and provide insightful reports and analyses. Participation in strategic planning sessions will be essential to align future initiatives with credit and risk management objectives, while also guiding team members in relevant processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to loan policy guidelines and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Report any deviations from loan policy to senior management.
  • Enhance and maintain current software tools relevant to Credit Administration.
  • Stay informed on policies, guidelines, and programs to assist lending and bank management with technical matters.
  • Propose updates to loan policies to reflect current growth dynamics.
  • Effectively communicate new policies and procedural changes to staff to ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Commit to following the established policies and procedures of Susser Bank.
  • Conduct duties in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality and security of sensitive information and records.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through relevant training opportunities.
  • Exhibit a courteous, motivated, and reliable demeanor, maintaining professionalism in both appearance and conduct.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned or directed.
Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred educational background in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in credit analysis or a related field.
  • Experience in managing teams is preferred.
Essential Skills and Competencies
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Finance, Accounting, and relevant software (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, financial applications).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and sound judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization.
