The Laurels of Athens is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing department to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed vocational/practical nurses, and STNA/CNAs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Participate in budget planning and management to ensure effective use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain current knowledge and expertise.
Requirements:
- RN license in the state
- Director of Nursing, management or supervisor experience in long-term care, restorative or geriatric nursing.
