Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Mobile Technician

At Ryder, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic Mobile Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, including oil changes, brake and tire work, and diagnostic repairs.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty diesel mechanics, with a focus on mobile maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
