Nurse Practitioner in Labor and Delivery

Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse in our Labor and Delivery unit, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. You will also be expected to participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay current with best practices and advancements in your field. Additionally, you may be required to assume charge nurse responsibilities, supervising other members of the healthcare team and ensuring seamless delivery of patient care services.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona. A minimum of two years of experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred, with a strong background in acute care nursing. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting. Certification in specialty areas of practice, such as Advanced Fetal Monitoring, is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
We prefer candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and at least one year of acute care experience. Certification in specialties like ACLS, PALS, or NRP is also beneficial. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly are essential for this role.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this role is $95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure includes additional compensation for working nights and weekends.
