About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care within our Labor and Delivery unit. As a Nursing Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating care planning with other disciplines, rendering individualized and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs, and acting as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit
  • Coordinates care planning with other disciplines
  • Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care
  • Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator
  • A license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
  • CPR certification
  • ACLS certification as applicable by Facility/by Department
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • One year of acute care experience
  • Certification in specialty area of practice

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $94,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the level of experience required. This figure may vary depending on your qualifications and performance.
