Position Summary: The Registered Nurse Supervisor is responsible for leading a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and treatment to clients. This role involves implementing medical directives and adhering to nursing protocols to provide comprehensive care. The Supervisor may also serve as a mentor and resource for other nursing staff.
Work Schedule: Night Shift 7P-7A - Consistent hour shifts with a 25% shift differential and semi-annual retention bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluates data from assessment processes for treatment services
- Conducts Nursing Assessments and physical examinations
- Administers medications and vaccinations with precision
- Assesses the appropriate level of care for clients
- Observes and reports alterations in client conditions
- Ensures precise and timely documentation of care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred
- Registered Professional Nurse license in Georgia
- Previous experience in psychiatric nursing is required
Leadership Duties:
- Sets objectives and accountability measures
- Provides constructive feedback and coaching
- Identifies training needs and supports staff development
- Maintains regular communication with team members
- Evaluates staff performance and offers constructive feedback
