Program OverviewOur New Graduate RN Residency Program is a full-time, benefitted position that assists new graduate nurses in refining their nursing skills, enhancing their knowledge, and developing new personal and professional relationships.
Key Program Components- Clinical Experiences: Participants will work alongside experienced nurses and educators to develop their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Simulation Training: Our state-of-the-art Banner Simulation Center provides a safe and realistic environment for hands-on training and skill development.
- Competency and Skills Assessment: Regular assessments and evaluations ensure that participants meet the necessary competencies and skills for their role.
- Electronic Medical Record Training: Participants will receive comprehensive training on our Cerner electronic medical record system.
- Patient Care Skills Lab: Hands-on experience with equipment and patient care scenarios helps participants develop their skills and confidence.
- e-Learning Modules: Access to online resources and training modules supports ongoing learning and professional development.
- Resources for Professional and Personal Development: Participants will have access to resources and support to help them achieve their personal and professional goals.
To be eligible for our New Graduate RN Residency Program, candidates must:
- Be a recent or upcoming graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Hold a BSN degree (ADN considered at select locations).
- Have a current BLS certification (American Heart Association, Red Cross, or ASHI) or be able to obtain certification before starting the program.
- Have no more than 12 months of RN experience.
This is a full-time, benefitted position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Potential LocationsOur New Graduate RN Residency Program is available at various HealthEcareers - Client facilities across the Phoenix Metro area, including Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix, Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, and others.
