Healthcare Support Associate

As a Healthcare Support Associate at McLaren Health Care, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care under the direction of a nurse. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with day-to-day tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to patient calls and determine the best course of action to provide assistance.
• Provide physical support for patients with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
• Ensure patients receive an appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
• Obtain and utilize information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses to provide optimal patient care.
• Measure and record food and liquid intake, as well as urinary and fecal output, and report changes to medical or nursing staff.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State Certified Nursing Assistant.
• One month of job-related experience and/or training.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
• One year of experience in a medical setting.
