The Role

This part-time day shift position involves working approximately 8 hours per week as a Nurse Technician in our Float Pool department.

Under the direction of the RN or LPN, you will assist in providing individualized care to patients, promoting their highest level of wellness.

You will work cooperatively with others as part of a team, recognizing the importance of collective goals and performing designated clinical procedures and nonclinical support tasks essential to delivering quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Perform various clinical and administrative tasks to support the nursing team.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, currently enrolled in a board-certified nursing program.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one month of hire.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EMT, Paramedic, or previous patient care experience.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Tech (CPCT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) certification preferred.

Salary Range

$25-$35 per hour, based on experience.
