About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic adult psychiatrist to join our community outpatient clinic team. This is an ideal opportunity for a clinician interested in serving vulnerable patients through the public mental health system while achieving an excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform psychiatric assessments, consultations, and follow-up appointments for clients in the general adult and/or forensic clinic
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Manage a manageable workload to support quality care rather than high volume quotas
  • Participate in integrated care opportunities with affiliated primary care clinics

About the Division

Lane County Behavioral Health provides services to over 1,600 individuals with behavioral health conditions. We work with community partners to provide a continuum of care from prevention through treatment and aftercare in an environment that promotes a culture of resilience and recovery.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an approved school of medicine with an MD or DO degree
  • Completion of an approved residency program in psychiatry by time of appointment
  • Board certification as a psychiatrist, or the ability to become board certified within 24 months
  • Possession of a current State of Oregon license as a Medical Doctor (MD or DO)
